This is what happens on your first day of school at your 4th school..

This is a typical first day of school for me.

1. walk into school, nervously twitching
2. offer a shaky smile
3. get stared at
4. sit down next to a "nice" person my teacher planted you next to
5. run to the bathroom and cry
6.cry.
7.cry some more
8. go outside and face the awkwardness of finding someone to sit next to
9. get stared at some more
10. talk
11.talk
12. sweat. ALOT.
13. walk into a door, trip, ETC. ( I think this only applies to me)
14. go home and offer my mom a 'Fine'
15. go to bed and cry
16. email friends
17. cry and shake with uncontrollable fear of tomorrow.

there! a couple might apply only to the klutz that is me, but its a generilization.

Honk for Japan

I just held a get together with 7 of my close friends at my depressingly empty house, and instead of hanging around and looking tortured in a cool emo way, we decided to make signs(arabic AND english) and stand on my street and yell " HONK FOR JAPAN" aka " ZAMER LAL YABAAN" at people.

it was interesting.
We all held cardboard with "honk for japan" on them for nearly FOUR HOURS. Hey, it was fun! whenever someone honked we would cheer like crazy people. Some people were MEAN and wouldnt honk, some smiled at us and shook their heads, and SOME CAME BACK AND HONKED TWICE! We cheered ourselves hoarse.

WHY we found it entertaining, i do not know. the curse of being young, i suppose... we got 85 HONKS OUT OF 185! impressive for jordan. Which means we have to donate 85 JD to the japanese embassy.

whoops. But it was WORTH IT! the feeling of accomplishment was WAAY better than any cocaine induced high. Instead of killing yourselves with cocaine, how bout being charitable? GOOD IDEA.
ill be posting some pics soon. oh, and my good pal Hannah on millimania across the globe has writting about this too, so be sure to check it out!
Love ya'll

My First Blog!

you're probably wondering '"why in the heck would I read this!??!" well, if you're one of those kids who have to move because of your parents jobs, this is were you can relate. Seriously. I have lived in 5 places over my short, short 12 years of life. let me tell you, IT SUCKS. When I FINALLY make good friends my parents give me the "Honey, were moving speech" wow. helpful, mom. thanks. I leave my buds, my house, my school, EVERYTHING to go to some alien place. Not even cool places! I have lived in Hong Kong (ok, that IS cool) Maurtitius(island paradise) Kazakhstan (blech) and Jordan. Im moving (AGAIN) in a couple days, so im alternating between fuming and sobbing. Mep, Jordan ain't my fave place! Now you guys dont know who i am so ill start explaining. Its complicated so grab your hot coco. Alrighty, now my ancestors were forced to move to Jordan because the Soviet Union took over, all very historical, and we ( the Circassians) came over to fair Jordan. Years later, I, a mix of Circassian and Surbian, burst into Jordan. But at age 2, I moved to Hong Kong, then Mauritius at age 5, Kazakhstan at age 7, Jordan at age 9, and now back to Hong Kong at age 12! I speak English ( my preferred language) Arabic (my mothertounge even though I stink at it) And randomly, French. I am FREAKISHLY TALL, pretty skinny, and stuck with glasses. My hair is brownishy and ive got brown eyes. weirdly pale skin and NEWLY brace free teeth. In all, i don't look like a freak, but not exactly model looking or beautiful. But im totally ok with that cuz i can now rely on my brain to get what i want not my looks. AWESOME! Well, that's it for introductions!
see ya!
